We are a French family with 3 girls, Pia (5 years old), Cristina (4 in November) and Charlotte (born 1 June 2009).

We are looking for part time help by an English mother tongue baby sitter/nanny starting early September 2010. During schooltime, the hours would be 4-8 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and 1-8 pm on Wednesdays. During school holidays, we will often go to our holiday house in Normandy, in which case we would be interested in your coming with us.

The job is to help the mother (who does not work) to take care of the girls, picking them up at school, taking them to the park weather permitting, giving them their bath and dinner while keeping their environment clean and tidy. All this with the help of a very efficient cleaning lady who works at the house 40hrs per week.

The girls have been babysat by EMT baby sitters over the last 2 years. The 2 eldest both understand English well and have started speaking it a little.

Remuneration: 13 euros net per hour. Possibility to work during school holidays on a full time basis (optional).

Given the nature of the job, we will pay particular attention to the candidate's (i) spoken (and written) English, (ii) ability to interact with, and teach English to, children and (iii) energy and calm. In particular, teaching experience will be most appreciated.
