We are the members of Urban Alchemist Design Collective in Park Slope, Brooklyn. UA is a retail store run as a cooperative by local artissans who work at the store one day a week and whose product line is sold through our shop. The store also sells on consignment select products by locals who are not coop members. We are looking for amazing artists/ designers/ crafters to join our coop and/or submit items to be sold on consignment. We are specifically looking for products that are NOT jewelry, but the right jewelry might find a place in our store. We do not have a ton of space, so large products like furniture probably aren't for us. But then, we might be surprised!

We are very prompt and communicative with respect to running the store and providing payment to sellers. We use google calendars and documents to keep everyone coordinated and up-to-date.

If you are interested in potentially joining our team or selling on consignment, please send us a link to your work (no enclosures, please). Please let us know if you think coop membership might be for you. We will only respond to people whose work we think would be a good fit for our store. Please do not feel offended if you do not receive a response. It doesn't mean we don't like your work. We're putting out an electronic record and looking to collaborate with a digital video artist/director for music video or maybe a multiple-clip story installment, etc, for mutual promotion.

The music is a bit of Aphex Twin, Chemical Brothers, Brian Eno, Squarepusher, etc.

Maybe you already have some videos shot that need a song, or maybe you've got an idea for a short vignette, or a short series.
